Presidential candidate of Labour Party Peter Obi and his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed on Sunday paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Also present was the senior pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo.
Obi’s ally and a former United Nations official Oseloka Obaze posted photos of the meeting on social media.
Obaze was the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Obi’s former party, in Anambra for the 2017 poll.
Obi unveiled his running mate on July 8. Baba-Ahmed, 46, is the founder of Baze University, Abuja.
The former Anambra State governor met Obasanjo on May 22 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and entered into a private discussion.
