A former presidential aspirant in the All Progressives Congress Adamu Garba on Thursday tweeted a photoshopped picture of himself dressed as a bishop.
Garba attended the unveiling of Senator Kashim Shettima as the vice-presidential candidate of the APC on Wednesday in Abuja.
The photoshopped image however showed him with a bishop’s hat. This is coming in the wake of the dust raised by about 30 persons who dressed as bishops at Shettima’s unveiling.
The APC chieftain posted the image to Twitter on Thursday, naming the original source as Segun Ben-Ajayi.
Mr Ben-Ajayi first posted the fake image to Facebook on Wednesday with the caption, “No be small thing Bishop Adamu Garba II was there today. I celebrate sir.”

Later, Garba posted his private conversation with Ben-Ajayi where the latter said he did not mean to embarrass him.
“Here is the chat between me and the original author of the photo depicting me as a Bishop. He said he didn’t do it to mock me. He requested I delete it.
“I’m his honour and obvious love for Nigeria, I will delete it in few minutes. Thank you Segun Ben-Ajayi, I understand you,” Garba said.
