A former presidential aspirant in the All Progressives Congress Adamu Garba has come under criticism on Twitter for posting on Thursday a photoshopped picture of himself dressed as a bishop.
Garba attended the unveiling of Senator Kashim Shettima as the vice-presidential candidate of the APC on Wednesday in Abuja.
The photoshopped image however showed him with a bishop’s hat. This is coming in the wake of the dust raised by about 30 persons who dressed as bishops at Shettima’s unveiling.
The APC chieftain posted the image to Twitter on Thursday, naming the original source as Segun Ben-Ajayi. Garba has since deleted the tweet.
His critics however say he committed blasphemy, adding that his post was no different from Deborah Samuel’s comments which got her killed recently in Sokoto. Deborah was lynched for allegedly blaspheming Prophet Muhammad.
