Pop star Tiwa Savage has said she cannot wait to surprise her son Jamil with the puppies she bought as his birthday present.
Tiwa posted a video of the puppies on Instagram on Friday, saying that Jamil asked for a puppy but she got two instead.
The mother of one noted that her son is not aware of the gifts and she cannot wait to be in Lagos to present the gifts.
She wrote: “Jamil wanted a puppy for this birthday and he thinks I didn’t get his presents but mummy got two cute puppies. Can’t wait till they get to Lagos.”
On his birthday, Tiwa who is currently on a music tour posted a video of herself and Jamil having fun on a trip.
She wrote: “Bae-cation: finally had some time off tour and I took my baby to Marrakech to celebrate his birthday (7 years of pure bliss) Our luggage has still not arrived, so we have been 3 days without our things otherwise y’all know we would have shut it down. I will give you the world jam jam.
“Anyone that has met you knows what a kind, sweet, honest boy you are and I will make sure you grow to be a beautiful young man. I will give you a lifetime of love, memories and experiences. The best I can. I love you, my baby, may God guide you, protect you. Jamil is 7Â @officialjamilbalogun.”
Tiwa and Jamil’s father Teebillz ended their marriage in 2016 over allegations of infidelity, substance abuse and lack of care.
