Actor Ibrahim Chatta has teased his fans with a video of himself proposing to his colleague Elizabeth Omowunmi, also known as Lizzy Da Silva.
In what looked like a scene from a movie, The Yoruba actor posted a video of himself on Instagram on Sunday, kneeling down to propose to Elizabeth while others in the video could be heard urging the actress to say yes to the proposal.
Reacting to those who insisted that the movie stars were joking around, Ibrahim said the engagement would be like actor Lateef Adedimeji and his actress wife Mo Bimpe’s wedding announcement which many believed was a joke at the time.
Captioning the video, the 51-year-old wrote: “Just like in d case of @mo_bimpe & @adedimejilateef. E go surprise dem #lizchat2022 @iam_leezeeperry, @officiallizdasilva says thanks for ur understanding.
Lizzy also posted the ‘engagement video’ on her Instagram page saying, Every love story is beautiful but ours is Magical ……finally said yes @ibrahimchatta_lordthespis . It’s about to be a wedding party Announcing the date soonest #lizchat2022.
While some fans congratulated them in the comment section of the post, others insisted it was a scene from their forthcoming movie.
Ibrahim and his wife Lizzy Berry welcomed their first child together, a son, in 2017.
Ibrahim also has another son, Malik, from his first marriage to Olayinka Solomon.
