Wife of Lagos State governor Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu on Monday attended the coronation of the Erelu Kuti of Lagos, Princess Abiola Dosumu, as Yeye Oodua.
The royal fathers present were the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; Oniru of Iru land, Oba Abdulwasiu Lawal; and the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Oba Saheed Elegushi.
The ceremony also had socialites, businessmen and women and politicians in attendance.
Rivers State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress Tonye Cole and actress Hilda Dokubo were present.
Also at the classy event was oil mogul and former presidential aspirant Tein Jack-Rich and his wife Elizabeth; Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, real estate magnate Olu Okeowo and businesswoman Bola Shagaya.
Award-winning fashion designer Sisi Abah Folawiyo, who held a grand event to mark her 80th birthday on July 22, graced the occasion.
Attendees could not hide their surprise when a crocodile was brought in spiced as part of rituals for the occasion.
