Supporters of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, have begun criticising Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai after he mocked a man named Abdullahi Zarma on Twitter who called for two million people to join the rally for Mr Obi in Kaduna.
Obi’s supporters have been holding rallies across the nation to garner support for the candidate who is perceived by many to be anti-establishment.
Reacting to Zarma’s post on Monday, El-Rufai said, with laughing emojis, that he hopes Obi gets 200 people to join the rally.
Obi’s supporters have been tweeting the words “Hell Rufai” as a pun to show their disapproval of El-Rufai’s comments.
