Fire broke out early Wednesday at a shopping mall at Ligali Ayorinde junction, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear. However, firemen have successfully put it out.
Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in the south-west, Ibrahim Farinloye told PUNCH that Federal and Lagos State fire services restored normalcy to the mall.
“The fire incident happened at a shopping centre but it has been handled by Federal and state fire services,” Farinloye said.
He added that an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
