Amarachi Eze, twin sister of the late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, could not hold back her tears as her sister’s son celebrates his first birthday with his mum.
Amarachi posted a picture from the birthday celebration on Facebook on Friday.
The kids held a picture of their dead mother with smiles on their faces as they posed for a photo shoot in their room. The room was decorated with a blue cake, drinks and snacks.
Captioning the photo, an emotional Amarachi promised to take care of her sister’s children, adding that they will all be reunited in heaven someday.
She wrote with carrying emojis: “Wow! My beloved friends, Please, Join me and wish my late sister’s second Son #Ekene a happy birthday (Great Child)!
“It’s your 1st birthday without your Mon and I can’t promise it’ll get easier, but with God, it is well with you my son and my promise is… I will always be here for you and your siblings and As you Celebrate your birthday, heaven will also celebrate you in Jesus Name! Amen …Son Enjoy, till when we’ll be reunited with her in heaven someday. I so much Love you!! Son”.
Amarachi and Osinachi were part of the defunct gospel group Glorious Singers known for songs like ‘Jigidemaka’, ‘Somebody is Knocking’, ‘Jerusalem’ and ‘Onyeoma’. The group disbanded after some of its members decided to pursue solo careers.
Osinachi died on April 8 at the National Hospital, Abuja. She is alleged to have been subjected to years of domestic abuse.
