Actress Jaiye Kuti has become a ‘grandmother’ following the birth of her ‘daugher’ actress Ferrari Okoro’s child.
Ferrari called Jaiye Kuti the grandmother of her newborn baby in an Instagram post on Friday where she also announced the birth of the child.
She wrote: “My mommy is officially a grandmother, please report her to me if you see her in leggings @jayeola_monje.”
Jaiye also celebrated the birth of the baby on Instagram.
The 53-year-old posted a photo of the pregnant actress and her newborn baby on Instagram on Thursday.
“For the past 3days we’ve been on our knees begging God for safe delivery and our prayers have been answered. Congratulations my baby love @ferraribongkem Jesu seun o,” she captioned the photo.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, Ferrari wrote: “Latest grandma in town.”
Fellow celebrities congratulated them in the comment section of the post.
Jaiye and the Cameroonian-Nigerian born actress share a close friendship off and online.
Ferrari Okoro was a banker before venturing into acting and filmmaking. She made her debut in 2010.
