Actor Yul Edochie has reacted to criticism over his birthday message to cross dresser Bobrisky.
The 40-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate the controversial cross dresser who turned 31 on Wednesday August 31.
In his birthday message to Bob, Yul Edochie prayed for success and God’s blessings.
He wrote: “A happy birthday to you Bobrisky. I wish you many more successful years. May God guide you always.”
The message generated mixed reactions from some Nigerians who slammed him for celebrating Bobrisky born Idris Okuneye.
Others claimed the actor ‘stooped so low’ to celebrate the controversial personality known for showcasing his lifestyle which many have described as ‘fake’ on social media.
Reacting to the backlash, Yul said that those bothered about his lifestyle are witches.
He wrote: “If my lifestyle which doesn’t concern you is paining you, giving you headache and sleepless nights, then it’s confirmed, simple and short you are a witch.”
Others who celebrated Bobrisky include Toke Makinwa, Eniola Badmus, Mercy Aigbe, Faith Ojo and Mercy Eke.
