Bose Ogulu, mother and manager of Grammy winner Burna Boy, has celebrated her 32nd wedding anniversary.
Bose posted photos of herself and her husband on Instagram on Friday with a goodwill message.
The talent manager said she was looking forward to spending forever and a day with her husband Samuel.
She wrote: “Happy 32nd anniversary to us. Looking forward to forever and a day, one day at a time.”
Bose Ogulu worked as a language translator at the Federation of West Africa Chambers of Commerce before becoming her son’s manager, while her husband managed a welding company.
In 2022, Burna Boy released the video for his ‘Way Too Big’ track off his Twice As Tall album, featuring his mother and sister.
On the singer’s 31st birthday in July, his mum asked him to “tone down the madness”.
“Happy birthday D. You have given me so many reasons to be proud of the man you have become. Let’s tone down the madness. Cheers to a new age,” she wrote on Instagram.
Bose is the daughter of Nigerian music critic Benson Idonije, who was the manager of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti.
Bose and Samuel have three children together, Burna Boy, Nissi and Ronami.
