Actress Bimpe Akintunde has made a joke about becoming the new next wife of Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi following the latter’s recent marriage to Queen Mariam Ogunwusi.
The Oba’s new wife Mariam Anako, an oil and gas executive, was welcomed into the palace on Tuesday night.
She is seen in videos and pictures kneeling before the Ooni as he blesses her. The new Olori later took her place beside him.
It was gathered that the family introduction took place in the first quarter of the year where the Ooni’s in-laws met with him.
While news of the marriage circulated on the internet, a blogger Kemi Ashefon claimed that another woman, Omo Oba Adegoke, Aya Adimula Ashely Afolashade will also be welcomed as a wife to the Ooni’s in a few hours.
Reacting in the comment section of the post on Instagram on Wednesday, Bimpe Akintunde prayed that the new woman will be welcomed quickly so that she can welcome her in return as the next wife to the Ooni.
“Make Olori Ashley enter quick, make she welcome me Olori Adebimpe to the palace tomorrow, Emilokan o,” the Yoruba actress wrote with dancing emojis.
