SIFAX CEO Taiwo Afolabi’s twin brother dies at 60

Kehinde Afolabi, twin brother of the chief executive officer of SIFAX Group Taiwo Afolabi, has died at the age of 60.

The pair celebrated their birthday only a few months ago.

News of the tragic incident was broken to the family at Taiwo’s home in Ikoyi, Lagos on Saturday morning where relatives were gathered for Taiwo’s niece’s marriage introduction ceremony, reports The Boss.

Kehinde, who was the chairman and chief executive officer of Ken Dallas Hotel and Suites in Idimu, Lagos, reportedly died in his sleep.

He was last seen publicly when he and Taiwo hosted a thanksgiving service where they dedicated Samson Afolabi Church which they built in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State as part of activities marking their 60th birthday.

He had his primary education at Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School, Yernoja, Ondo and also attended Mushin College, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The deceased was a co-founder of Ajoke Aishat Afolabi Foundation, a non-governmental organisation named after his mother, which caters for the less privileged, especially indigent women and girls.

Kehinde was married to Yemisi Afolabi and they have three children.
