Jermaine Sanwo-Olu, senior special assistant on diaspora and foreign relations to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has attained full membership of the Nigerian Institute Of Public Relations (NIPR).
Mr Sanwo-Olu announced this via Twitter on Tuesday night, with a photo of himself in a graduation gown and his certificate of full membership.
The SSA on diaspora and foreign relations, who is the governor’s cousin, said he counted it as a great honour to have been made a full member of the institute.
“Congratulations are in order as in addition to being a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations UK (MCIPR), he wrote.
“I count it a great honour as after many years of experience & MCPDs I have now been made a Full Member of the Nigerian Institute Of Public Relations (MNIPR).
“Being the Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora and Foreign Relations To Mr Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, public relations and strategic communications with the diplomatic and the diaspora community forms a major part of my job.”
Sanwo-Olu added that he would be setting up a non for profit public relations agency under his “social enterprise http://thedreamfoundation.ng to help make NGOs, MSMEs and individuals dreams come true.”
