Afrobeat star Femi Kuti and his ex-wife Funke have celebrated their son Made on the latter’s 27th birthday.
The ex-couple shared photos of Made in Instagram on Monday with a goodwill message to him.
“HBD LLNP @madekuti my Bundle of Joy ‘BOJI thank my blessings for you. Continue to take the path of righteousness and our Creator and the Universe will guide and protect you always. I pray you reach your fullest potential. Always use your talent to promote love and peace and always stand for justice. LOVE YOUAAARA,” Femi wrote.
Funke wrote: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING SON @madekuti GoD KNOWS WHY HE GAVE ME ONLY ONE CHILD O! Born Omorinmade Kuti, Made is the only son of the marriage between Femi and Funke Kuti.
The ex-couple remain inseparable despite ceasing to be husband and wife many years ago.
On his 60th birthday, Funke Kuti thanked Femi for loving their Made unconditionally.
“And just like that, you are 60!!!!! You don old o! Happy Birthday, Baba Mádé @femiakutiThank you for all you do. You are such an amazing man and father. Thank you for loving our son unconditionally. May God continue to Bless and Favour you now and always,” she wrote.
