Actress Bimbo Ademoye has posted a throwback video revealing how she struggled to wear her outfit to Kunle Afolayan’s Anikulapo premiere.
The 31-year-old, who played one of the lead characters in the movie recently posted the video on Instagram.
In the video, Bimbo who appeared uncomfortable could be seen struggling to wear the tight white dress with the help of her stylist.
Also in the video, a hilarious Bimbo could be heard telling her stylist to help her stand as she could no longer sit with the dress.
Captioning the video, the Yoruba movie star pointed out that the outfit was not harmful but it was uncomfortable to wear.
She wrote: “Before you come for me and say na by force? Pls, DON’T! It was a big night for me and I had to look good. The outfit wasn’t harmful at all, it was just uncomfortable. And you know what they say, fashion is pain.. Aso oke is not a breathable fabric, so Yh my corset so corseted my soul.”
Anikulapo is the story of Saro, a travelling clothe weaver, who was beaten to death for having an affair with the Alaafin’s youngest wife.
