Actress Ireti Doyle has mourned Big Brother Naija reality star and fellow Tinsel actor Rico Swavey who died after a ghastly accident.
Rico’s death was announced by fellow reality star Alex Unusual in a Twitter post on Thursday.
Reacting to the shocking death in Twitter post, Ireti quoted Rico’s message to her before his death.
She wrote: “”See you next week”… you said.With that signature smile and those beautiful bright eyes..Another occurrence that can only be filed under Ka bi yo o si.”
Reacting to the tweet, fellow actress and filmmaker consoled her saying, “Sincere condolences sis.”
“Good morning aunty Ireti! Omg Rico is really gone. My condolences to you an the rest of the Tinsel family and also to his family. May his soul Rest In Peace,” a fan identified as Demonne added.
Born Patrick Fakoya, Rico Swavey whose mum is Italian, contested in the third edition of the reality show in 2018.
The Babcock University graduate was also a lawyer, singer and actor.
Rico was best known for his role in the drama series Life 101. And the Africa Magic series Tinsel.
The 29-year-old released a song titled ‘Afrosantana’ in 2020. He also dropped another ‘Emotions’ the same year.
