Nigerians have taken to Twitter to lament after the messaging platform WhatsApp went down around the world.
Users of the platform, owned by Meta, began reporting issues just before 8:00am on Tuesday.
Many people have complained on social media that they cannot send or receive messages. WhatsApp has about two billion global active users.
It is one of the most popular messaging platforms in the UK.
Users of a clone app GB WhatsApp have begun calling on the public to download it.
