Actress Iyabo Ojo has described the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of pop star Davido as devastating and extremely painful.
Accoriding to a source close to the family, Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool at his residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
Ifeanyi who recently celebrated his third birthday was said to have been underwater for a very long time before being spotted and rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state, he was, however, confirmed dead on arrival.
Hours after the news broke, Iyabo Ojo took to her Instagram account to react to the shocking death.
She wrote: “I don’t even know how to react to this rude shock. I was hoping it wasn’t true. My God this is shocking sad, devastating and extremely painful. Olorun Ikun le abiamoo. Haaa Noooo.”
Other celebrities like AY Comedian, Williams Uchemba and Lasisi Elenu have also reacted to Ifeanyi’s demise.
Lasisi Elenu, wrote on Instagram; “Father heal your children’s heart from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”
“The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad,” AY added.
Williams who called for prayers wrote: “Please say a prayer for Davido, Chioma and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up little one.”
Ifeanyi Adeleke was born on October 20, 2019 to Davido and his fiancee Chioma Rowland. He celebrated his third birthday recently.
His death comes four years after another artiste D’banj lost his son, who similarly drowned in the family’s swimming pool.
