Kenyan gospel singer Mary Lincoln has reacted to naked pictures of herself in a bathroom which has since circulated on the internet
The pictures were posted by controversial blogger Martha Mwihaki Hinga who is known for exposing private matters about public figures in Kenya.
Days after the leaked video went viral, Mary posted a photo of herself receiving prayers at a pentecostal church she attended, adding that has found mercy in the sight of God.
“Yes, we went to the Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) Church for repentance and forgiveness prayer. Our God is merciful and offers those who repent a second chance to resume service to him. What is important is that I am now full of renewed energy to continue ministering and spreading the love of our merciful and forgiving God,” she wrote.
She also thanked her fellow artistes who stood by her side during the scandal. Mary expressed gratitude to Shiru Wa Gp, Joyce Irungu and Karangu Wa Muraya who was once accused of having an affair with another man’s wife.
Mary is the second wife of radio presenter Njogu wa Njoroge. The couple got married in 2020.
