Tiffany Trump, daughter of the former US President Donald Trump, on Saturday, November 12 wedded her Nigerian-Lebanese lover Michael Boulos.
The couple tied the knot at Trump’s private resort Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
The wedding comes three days before Trump is expected to announce his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election.
Tiffany chose her wedding dress as a nod to Boulos’ heritage. “It’s a Lebanese American wedding, so we were so happy to have Elie Saab create the magic,” her mother Marla Maples told People.
The couple’s cake was modelled after Trump and Maples’ custom, 7-foot-tall Sylvia Weinstock wedding cake, which Maples says Tiffany, who was a newborn at the time of the wedding, wanted to recreate.
Maples played a role in the ceremony, too, sharing a prayer during the service, and Tiffany’s closest friends from childhood were chosen as bridesmaids. Tiffany’s half-sister Ivanka helped prepare for the big day, joining Tiffany’s bridal party and offering “total support,” according to a source involved with the wedding.
After exchanging marital vows and receiving blessings, the lovers had their first dance as husband and wife. They were joined by Trump and his wife Melania.
The couple held a pre-wedding event where they hosted guests from around the world. Senior pastor of House on the Rock Church Paul Adefarasin and wife Ifeanyi, and also music producer and singer Cobhams Asuquo were in attendance.
Tiffany, 29, and Boulos, 25, have been dating since 2018 after meeting at Lindsay Lohan’s club in Mykonos, Greece.
Boulos, who is the heir to the multi-billion dollar Nigerian conglomerate Boulos Enterprises, proposed to Tiffany, in the last days of her father at the White House in January 2021 with a $1.2 million ring.
