Wife of a former Senate President Toyin Saraki has paid tributes to her cousin Adedoyin Ayinde who died on Sunday aged 36.
Mrs Ayinde, who was the wife of Tayo Ayinde, the chief of staff to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, died in Lagos months after welcoming her second child in the UK.
The deceased was the niece of Mrs Saraki’s father Adekunle Ojora.
Saraki mourned her cousin in an Instagram post on Monday. “Dearest Doyin, You have gone to be with the angels far too soon, and you are very sorely missed. Rest in peace. Amen,” she wrote.
An obituary released by the Ojora and Ayinde families on Sunday said, “Princess Adedoyin lived a fulfilling life, having impacted positively on the people that came in contact with her during her lifetime.
“Adedoyin’s heart desires was to see a world where every human being regardless of status, religion or gender is treated with love and affection.”
The families noted that funeral arrangements would be kept within them.
