Seyi Tinubu, son of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu, on Sunday led a rally in Kano State in support of his father.
The rally was tagged ‘one million man PVC march’.
Director of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign support group, Baffa Danagundi, who spoke at the event, said the rally was aimed at sensitising supporters of Tinubu to get their permanent voter’s card (PVC).
Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who was also at the rally, said it was to show that Tinubu would have the highest votes in the state in February 2023.
According to him: “We planned this one million PVC show walk to demonstrate that the state is for Tinubu.”
House Leader Alhassan Doguwa also attended the rally which took off from the Emir’s palace in the heart of the city, had a brief stopover at the Government House en route to Race Course all within Nasarawa GRA where it was terminated.
This is not the first time Seyi will be leading a rally to support his father’s presidential bid. He led one this year in Lagos.
