Singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, also known as D’banj, has joined his colleagues to show support for pop star Davido on the latter’s 30th birthday.
Davido clocked 30 on Monday, November 21, days after the shocking death of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Celebrating the bereaved singer in an Instagram post, D’banj shared a photo of Davido, urging him to trust in God and know that his restoration is certain.
“Happy birthday to you my brother. I know that this birthday maybe a difficult one for you but I pray for long life in strength, wisdom and and grace.”
“Don’t forget like we discussed, trust God and please know your restoration is certain,” he wrote.
Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool on October 31 at the singer’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State, police have confirmed.
The boy had only celebrated his third birthday days before the tragic incident. His death has left his father and mum Chioma Rowland heartbroken and off social media.
His death comes four years after another D’banj lost his son, who similarly drowned in the family’s swimming pool.
