US-based Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi has reacted to the criticism over a trending photo of herself posing in a seductive manner.
In the photo which has since gone viral, the mother of two who was putting on black underwear exposed her legs, almost showing off her private part.
The picture generated backlash from critics who have continued to slut-shame her on social media.
Reacting in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Korra reposted the photo which was edited in a way that covered her exposed legs and private area as a way of mocking her
Captioning the photo, Korra who appeared seemingly unbothered by the criticism laughed at the edited photo with the caption: “Gossip matters.”
The single mother has been posting several sultry photos and videos of herself dancing and twerking in a seductive manner.
In one of the videos, the dancer ditched her bra, exposing parts of her breast to give her 1.5 million followers something for their delight.
Captioning one of the video, the 28-year-old said that a woman should not be told what to do with her body.
She wrote: “Never tell a woman what to do with her body.”
Three days ago, the dancer revealed that rapper Phyno asked her to stop twerking on Instagram but she refused.
the Delta indigene stated this in a video on Instagram where she posted highlights from the recently held AFRIMA Awards she attended alongside Igbo rappers Phyno and Flavour.
Taking fans through the highlights of the event in a video shared on the platform, Korra stated that Phyno told her to stop twerking on Instagram but she noted that was never going to happen.
“Phyno is telling me to stop twerking on Instagram but you know that’s never gonna happen,” she said gleefully.
The mother of two recently announced that her divorce from Justin Dean has been finalised.
“Finalized divorce!!! I am a free woman and hopefully moving on in peace for the sake of my children. This wouldn’t be the end of the road for me love wise. I’m still looking for love, love is a beautiful thing and I will not allow these experiences deter me from finding true love. Divorced,” she wrote on Facebook.
Korra and Justin made headlines in March when the latter announced they are getting a divorce one week after they welcomed their second child.
