Veteran actor Olaiya Igwe has said he does not regret posting a naked video of himself praying at a beach for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu.
The video which was posted on his Instagram account on Friday generated mixed reactions critics with some, condemning the video.
While explaining his reason for praying naked in an interview with Morayo Afolabi-Brown and the ladies of Your View breakfast show aired on TVC on Monday, Olaiya Igwe said he did not come to apologised over the video.
He said: “I am not here to tender my explanation, I am not here to tender an apology. I was asked to stand up and go and do it spiritually. I have a gift of revelation by Almighty God.
“At times what God plans for me ahead before it happens.was sleeping that day and the voice came to me and said ‘please stand up, you said you love Asiwaju and he has been assisting you, I said ‘yes’. He said stand up go and do this and this for him.”
When asked if he deliberately posted the video on his Instagram account, Olaiya said he did and he does not regret his actions because he will do anything for Tinubu.
Speaking further, the Yoruba movie star claimed he did not strip for financial benefits and will continue to show support for the former Lagos State Governor who according to him will become president in 2023.
