Lara Owoeye-Wise, Special Assistant to Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege on Electronic and New Media, has been awarded a Master in Management (MSc Management) from College de Paris, France.
Owoeye-Wise was conferred with the degree at a graduation ceremony held in Paris on Friday, December 2.
A graduate of Religion and Philosophy from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, Owoeye-Wise is a multiple award-winning journalists with over two decades of experience in print and electronic media.
She worked with Punch, The News, AM News and Tempo before transiting to broadcasting.
Upon crossing over to electronic media, she worked as a pioneer staff for Silverbird TV, pioneer staff of the resuscitated Minaj Broadcast International (MBI) and was deputy head of presentation, senior news editor, news anchor and chief correspondent at Africa Independent Television (AIT) before her appointment as Special Adviser on Media to former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf.
She has also had a working stint with the Voice of America (VOA) and KSTP Channel 5, Minnesota.
