Lola Omotayo, wife of singer Peter Okoye, has marked the second death anniversary of her father Oladipo Omotayo.
The 50-year-pld posted the obituary of her dad via Instagram on Friday with a short tribute to the deceased.
She wrote: “Papa today is a tough day but we give glory to God for the wonderful life you lived on this earth. We miss you and love you forever. May you continue to Rest in Perfect Peace.”
On December 16, 2021, Lola visited her dad’s grave with her husband and his twin brother Paul Okoye to mark the one-year anniversary of his death.
Mr Omotayo died on December 16, 2020.
Lola broke the news on Instagram saying, “In the early hours of this morning, I received some very sad news that brought my family’s world to a grinding halt.
“My darling Papa’s passing has hit us all very hard, and while we know that he is in a better place, the truth is that there is no easy way to handle the grief that comes with the loss of a loved one.”
