Actress Empress Njamah has posted a video of the man who she claimed disguised as her fiancé and blackmailed her for money.
The Girls Hostel actress made headlines on Thursday when video of her showing off an engagement ring, with a man in the background was posted via Instagram, with many storming the comment section of congratulate her.
The excited over the said engagement was short-lived as some of her colleagues revealed that her Instagram account was hacked and someone had been blackmailing her.
Empress confirmed this in a video uploaded via Instagram on Friday where she claimed that a man who pretended to be in love with her, forced the engagement ring on her and posted the video.
The 42-year-old said she got involved with the man around the time her best friend Ada Ameh died and he took advantage of her vulnerabilty and promised to marry her but ended up beating and blackmailing her for money.
In the early hours of Saturday, Empress uploaded a video of her blackmailing making further threats.
In the video, the man could be heard saying, “Trust me, I swear to God you don’t know what’s coming. I know everything you do on a daily basis. I know absolutely everything.”
Captioning the video, Empress wrote: “Beware of this Scammer! Threats and more threats. I’m no longer safe.Immediately after he posted on my page yesterday got this video from him threatening me.”
