Actor Hanks Anuku has made a public appearance since news of his alleged battle with mental illness broke out.
The actor attended the party of his junior colleague Zubby Michael.
Zubby Michael held his annual ‘Eze Ndi Ala’ Day in his home town, where he gave out 10 million to 10 people and more.
The event was attended by Hanks Anuku, Yul Edochie, Destiny Etiko, Harry B among others.
Zubby shared an appreciation post via Instagram on Thursday thanking his colleagues and friends for attending the event.
Captioning the post, he wrote quote “Thanks for coming my people @yuledochie @destinyetikoofficial @ha1962anukuha @ifedisharon@042princejay @harrybanyanwu ZM #A1 #doings #nawedeyhere #blessup love you.”
The footage generated reactions on social media as many speculated that the actor is mentally unstable while others claimed the video was from a movie set. However, the actor who reacted to video accused people of trying to destroy his image.
Hanks Anuku claimed he had been on set and the pictures and videos were being used to tarnish his reputation.
He wrote: “Tell all these motherf*ckers who write crap about me to stop writing about me and leave me alone. If they wanna act in the movie, they can Come tO me. I’ve been on set and anyone using those pictures and videos on set to try and destroy my image, may the holy spirit forgive you.”
