Singer Timi Dakolo has shared a series of pictures with his Ghanaian maternal grandmother, whom he referred to as ‘babe’.
The 41-year-old father of three posted the pictures on Instagram on Thursday.
“My maternal grannie in Ghana.
“This my babe is almost 100 years,” he captioned the post.
Timi Dakolo was born in Accra, Ghana to a Nigerian father from Bayelsa State.
His Ghanaian mother died when he was 13 years old.
The singer was, however, raised in Port Harcourt by his paternal grandmother Ateni Dakolo and an aunt Susan Larry whom he credits as his early singing teacher.
