Filmmaker Kemi Adetiba has confirmed that the third part of her thriller King of Boys is being produced.
The 42-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday, promising enthusiasts of a “wild ride”.
She posted a picture of herself with Sola Sobowale, the major act in the movie and Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti.
“I just need y’all to know… That KOB 3 is gonna be a WIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLDDDDDDDD RIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!! #SayingALotWithoutSayingTooMuch #KOB3 #WhenThunderAndLightningMeetOnScreen,” she captioned the picture.
Sola Sobowale plays the role of Eniola Salami, an ambitious crime lord and businesswoman, in the first part of King of Boys released in 2018.
She reprised the role in the second part titled The Return Of The King which is a seven-part series on Netflix in 2021.
