Former Big Brother Naija housemates Angel Smith and Oluwabusayo Abiri, popularly known as Khloe, have knocked comedian Nedu over his comments about female participants in the reality TV show.
Nedu has achieved notoriety for claiming some female celebrities are part-time prostitutes on his podcast Frankly Speaking.
In a recent edition, Nedu said some women enter Big Brother Naija to upgrade their commercial sex work.
According to him, they have nothing else to offer apart from “kpekus”, a derogatory term for vagina.
Reacting in a series of Twitter posts on Tuesday, January 24 Angel wondered why people don’t question male Big Brother housemates when they buy cars and other luxury items.
The BBNaija Season 6 finalist wrote “This is all so old and boring, I don’t know why men can’t just mind their business. So many women have come out of big brother to become actresses, start businesses and actually have a solid brand but because y’all are so misogynistic and uninformed you say rubbish.”
She wrote in another tweet “You people never talk about the men in big brother when they’re buying their cars and watches and buying houses but let it be a woman, all of a sudden everyone wants to know her sponsor. Do you people know their own sponsor?”
Reacting to Angel’s posts, Khloe said Nedu spoke the way he did because his wife allegedly cheated on him, adding that what a woman does to make ends meet is nobody’s business.
“What any woman does to make ends meet is no one’s business in as much as she doesn’t steal from you or kill anyone,” Khloe said.
