Emmanuel TV, the cable channel of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Wednesday, March 8 clocked 17.
The church said via social media that on this day it looks back on all it has done to make the world a better place through the channel together with partners.
It urged members of the public to look beyond their present situation and continue bringing comfort to the suffering.
The church’s post reads, “Happy birthday, Emmanuel TV! Seventeen years ago, on a day like this, the Lord God made it possible for Emmanuel TV to come into existence through the instrumentality of His servant, Prophet TB Joshua.
“As we look back through the years, we know that God’s Right Hand of Grace, Favour and Compassion has remained strong upon this Gospel channel.
“Through Emmanuel TV, we have all joined hands together to make the world a better place by sharing what God has given us with the needy in all spheres of life. We have extended hands of solidarity, fellowship and warmth to those in crises brought on by nature. And, more importantly, we have all contributed in supporting The TB Joshua Ministries to spread the message of love and salvation across the world.
“As we celebrate this 17th anniversary of Emmanuel TV — a medium through which millions of lives have been transformed worldwide — we urge you to look beyond your present situation and let your spirit be lifted as you carry on with the work of bringing succour to the suffering.”
This is the second anniversary that the channel would be celebrating since 2006 without its founder Prophet TB Joshua who died on June 5, 2021.
