Actress Ini Edo on Friday hinted she is not considering remarrying at least for the foreseeable future.
The screen beauty dropped the hint via Instagram while thanking all who showed her daughter Light love on her second birthday.
“My heart, my love, just the two of us,” Ini wrote, “from baby Light and I, thank you aunties, thank you uncles for all the gifts, prayers, well wishes, comments, love and kindness showered on us. We are grateful. We love you.”
Ini also ensured in the accompanying photo that her daughter’s face was hidden from the public.
Some Instagram users were quick to ask why it was just Ini and her daughter.
Maxwell Abundant wrote, “Just the 2 of you.. is the father now one of you? Why excluding the father?”
Lydia Atekha asked, “What about the father sist?”
In 2021, Ini revealed that she chose surrogacy to fulfil her dream of being a mother.
“Yes I do have a daughter and I had her through surrogacy. The Eggs are mine and so genetically she’s my blood. I chose this path to fulfil my dream of becoming a mother. I still have a good number of eggs frozen in case I decide to do surrogacy again or carry my baby myself, who knows,” she told blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus.
The actress was once married to Philip Ehiagwina. The marriage lasted from 2008 to 2014.
