Actress Omoni Oboli has alleged that officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are refusing to come to the poling unit in Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos.
Omoni made the allegation in a video she posted to Instagram Story on Saturday.
“Everything is set up but INEC has said they are not coming to VGC, they are going to set up on the express. This has never happened before,” she said.
The 44-year-old argued that she had hoped INEC would make voting easy this time around compared with the presidential and National Assembly polls of February 25.
In the video she posted, businessman and life coach Fela Durotoye and wife Tara are seen also waiting for INEC officials.
She also posted the video to Twuitter with the caption, “Please I don’t need stress @inecnigeria @CNNAfrica @StephanieBusari What na? It’s too early to be tired! #NigeriaDecides2023 #GodBlessNigeria.”
She tasked her followers to tag INEC until “they do the right thing.”
