Actress Toyin Abraham has deleted a tweet where she alleged that agents of her party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), disrupted the governorship and state houses of assembly polls on Saturday.
A tweep Oluwafolakemi had tweeted at her on Saturday afternoon, saying “Hello @toyin_abraham1 have you seen the mayhem unleashed by the ruling party?”
Toyin replied, “Yes oh, I have seen. So sad. That is why we keep saying no to electoral violence.”
The movie producer soon deleted the post and tweeted another response. This time she generalised that different political parties across the nation were involved.
“I have seen some across the country involving different political parties. So sad. This is why we keep saying no to electoral violence,” she wrote.
Earlier this month, Toyin Abraham claimed she was the “most bullied” due to her support for President-elect Bola Tinubu.
Toyin described herself in what looked like a mock bio as the most bullied for her political choice.
“Who is Toyin Abraham? Actress, producer, director, philanthropist, Asiwaju baby, speaker, influencer, brand ambassador, highest grossing actress five years till date, producer of one of the highest grossing movies, most bullied for her choice etc,” she wrote on Instagram.
