Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has paid tributes to his wife Evelyn who died in 2020 from cancer.
The former Bayelsa East senator shared a photo of himself and wife and also of himself and children on social media and said it still breaks his heart to have lost his wife.
“Today marks three years since I lost my dear wife and the mother of my kids. It still breaks my heart to date,” he wrote on Monday.
In 2021, Murray-Bruce described his late wife as faithful.
He said, “She was faithful, loyal and true. My best friend of 43 years and my wife for 41 years. She was one of life’s greatest inspiration to me.”
The former federal lawmaker added that the void cannot be filled.
Mrs Murray-Bruce was buried in the United States.
