Musicians Wizkid, Flavour and Ckay on Wednesday night partied with businessman, banker and philanthropist Tony Elumelu at his 60th birthday party in Lagos.
The artistes treated guests at the occasion to some of their hit tracks.
Wizkid’s manager Sunday Are described the event as a “great celebration”.
“Happy birthday to a great man @tonyoelumelu. May your day be filled with joy and your year full of many blessings. Last night was a great celebration,” he wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday.
Are danced with Elumelu to Kizz Daniel’s viral song ‘Cough’ in one of the videos he uploaded on Instagram.
After a pulsating performance from Flavour, the ‘Game Changer’ singer bowed slightly to greet the celebrant and his wife Awele.
Wizkid, a UBA ambassador and friend of the Elumelu family, could not hide his excitement throughout the night.
After Flavour’s performance, he and Wizkid took photographs with Elumelu and wife.
Also, Elumelu’s mother Suzanne, who is 95 years old, showed her youthful side by dancing to ‘Buga’ by Kizz Daniel.
The nonagenarian, while seated, moved her body rhythmically with a lot of energy to the music.
Others who witnessed the occasion were Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, and actress Omoni Oboli.
On Thursday, Elumelu expressed appreciation to all for the goodwill messages.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes yesterday,” he said on Instagram.
