Social media comedian Ganiyu Kehinde, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has been found alive days after he went missing on Sunday, March 26.
A video posted on his Instagram page on Thursday shows the moment the comedian returned home to his worried family.
Narrating how the comedian was found, his friend and colleague Oluwatosin Ijesaekun said in a video that Ijoba Lande was found in the Igando area of Lagos.
According to him, members of a vigilante group asked the missing comedian to call his family or anyone he knew after he was discovered.
Explaining further, Ijesaekun said a woman who saw a post about Ijoba Lande missing found him, called her friends and escalated the news of his whereabouts.
The comedian was said to have been in a bad shape with his clothes covered in sand at the time he was found.
Videos of him posted on Instagram show him crying as he tried to change his clothes.
The shaken comedian did not speak in the videos but he cried as he reunited with his family.
“Thanks to everyone for making this happen,” Ijesaekun captioned the series of videos posted on his Instagram page.
Although the comedian’s disappearance was reported to the police, there is yet no official statement on how exactly he went missing and what happened to him while his family was looking for him.
