Wife of the former Senate President Toyin Saraki on Monday paid tributes to her late brother Prince Adegboyega Ojora aka Gbegi on his 12th death anniversary.
Gbegi, who died in 2011, was the first son of Otunba Adekunle Ojora and Erelu Ojuolape Ojora.
Mrs Saraki shared on Instagram a childhood photo of herself and Gbegi on a horse.
She quoted John 14:28, “You heard Me say, ‘I am going away, and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.”
She added, “As we mark the 12th memorial of Gbegi’s departure from temporal life, the promise of the resurrection of Christ brings forth the solace of renewed faith and certainty of everlasting life.”
“Greatly Beloved, Adegboyega ‘Gbegi’ Ojora, 29.09.1960 ~ 11.04.2011,” she concluded.
Gbegi died at the First Consultant Hospital, Ikoyi Road, Obalende, Lagos. He was aged 50.
He was reported to have driven himself to the hospital. He subsequently slumped and died of a heart attack.
