Ex-governor of Ogun State Gbenga Daniel and his wife Olufunke have begun holidaying in Paris, France.
He revealed this on Saturday via Twitter, stated that it was a much-needed rest.
“After a gruelling but exciting electioneering, my dear wife, Yeye Olufunke Daniel, and I decided to take a much-needed holiday in one of world’s most beautiful cities, Paris.
“This time out affords me the opportunity to reset and recharge, as we resume the task of moving our dear country Nigeria forward,” he wrote.
Daniel will be representing Ogun East as a senator in the 10th National Assembly. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress.
The 67-year-old was governor of Ogun State from 2003 to 2011.
