Actress Genevieve Nnaji shared late-night posts on Wednesday, May 3 in celebration of her 44th birthday.
The screen beauty’s fans and colleagues had already started celebrating her on social media before she made her tweet at 10:27 pm.
She shared a photo of herself with a brief caption: “+1.” Her post has generated thousands of comments, likes and retweets.
She posted same photo on Instagram Stories.
A video of her about to cut her birthday cake has gone viral.
Genevieve also reposted some birthday wishes she received from some of her colleagues on Instagram Stories.
She shared the messages of Stella Damasus, Uche Jombo, Waje, Funke Akindele and Ini Edo.
Stella wrote, “Happy birthday @genevievennaji God bless you darling, a queen, a superstar, an enigma.”
Uche wrote, “Happy birthday Asa bekeeee @genevievennaji.”
Singer Waje wrote, “Happy birthday to a queen I love @genevievennaji.”
Funke said in her own message, “Beautiful queen! I love you Genny. Happy birthday sis. God bless you more @genevievennaji.”
Ini Edo wrote, “Happy birthday queen @genevievennaji. Miss ya.”
Genevieve became a subject of discussion on her birthday last year following rumour that she was battling mental health crisis.
She deleted all her Instagram photos and videos, months after she unfollowed everybody on the social media platform.
In November 2022, she returned to Instagram with a photo of herself which got her fans talking. The actress rocked a dark blue coloured gown designed by Tiffany Amber which she wore to the 2022 edition of Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEXWKND) held in Côte D’Ivoire.
Genevieve spoke at the event. Later, she deleted the post and has largely remained off social media since then.
