Singer Teni on Friday night attended a birthday party put together for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke in Lagos.
The party, held to herald Adeleke’s 63rd birthday on Saturday, also had in attendance the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos in the March 18 poll, Olajide Adediran aka Jandor.
Teni hailed the governor and gave him a hug as she arrived at the party.
Also present was the governor’s musician sons, Adebayo Adeleke aka B-Red and Adesina Adeleke aka Sina Rambo; and media personality Dele Momodu.
Momodu, who is three days younger than the governor, shared pictures and videos from the party on Instagram.
“It was such a great honor hosting my very dear friend and Brother GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE in Lagos last night as he turned 63 at 12 midnight… Our affable Leader is my older Brother by three days and it was good spending such quality time with family and friends,” the celebrity publisher wrote in one of his posts on Instagram.
Other relatives, friends and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the governor who on Tuesday had his victory at the governorship poll last year affirmed by the Supreme Court.
Songs of praises to God and prayers were said for Adeleke.
Adeleke’s famous nephew Davido was not at the party. But his first child Imade spent some time with the governor.
