Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly Adebo Ogundoyin has welcomed a baby boy.
The speaker announced the child’s birth on Thursday via Twitter.
The birth of the child comes nearly two months after the lawmaker lost his mother Justina Ogundoyin.
“Announcing the newest arrival to my family. It’s another bouncing baby boy!” he wrote.
“Just less than two months that Yeye transited to the land beyond, another bundle of joy has been added to my family.
“We feel blessed and happy to receive the heavenly gift. My wife and the baby are amazingly good. Join me in praising Jehovah, Hallelujah!”
Ogundoyin married Olamidun nee Majekodunmi, daughter of British-Nigerian architect Olufemi Majekodunmi, in 2021.
Ogundoyin’s mother was 63 years old when she died on March 26.
She was the fourth wife of the late Eruwa-born philanthropist and business Mogul, Adeseun Ogundoyin.
The deceased was until her death the iyaloja general of Ibarapaland. She is survived by four children, Adesoji, Adebo (Oyo State Speaker), Adetoye and Aderemi.
