Former minister of state for labour and employment Festus Keyamo has returned to his legal profession following the end of the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
Keyamo was first appointed minister of state for Niger Delta before being moved by former President Buhari to understudy Chris Ngige at the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
On Tuesday, he shared a video on Twitter of himself wearing his legal robe just before departing his chambers.
“He’s back!!!” the lawyer, who was an EFCC prosecutor for several years, captioned the post.
Keyamo headed to the court and for the first time joined lawyers defending President Bola Tinubu’s victory at the 2023 polls at the Presidential Election Petition Court.
The court consolidated all the petitions before it at the last adjourned date.
The consolidation is for expeditious hearing since most of the grounds of the petitioners are similar.
Keyamo was also a spokesperson for Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.
