Protesters under the banner of The Progressive Forum besieged the National Assembly on Tuesday to demand the resignation of Senate President Bukola Saraki among others.
Drawn from civil society groups, student associations and others with axe to grind with the federal lawmakers, the demonstrators brought everything but the kitchen sink with them.
Among the things they brought was a generator set to power the speakers attached to one of their vehicles.
