Senator Shehu Sani has expressed displeasure with the Federal Government’s plan to distribute N8,000 to 12 million households in six months as a way to support them over the fuel subsidy removal.
The National Assembly recently approved N500 billion which President Bola Tinubu intends to use in supporting the worst affected among the public.
Tweeting on Thursday night, Sani urged Nigerians to pray before collecting the palliative proposed by the Tinubu administration.
He further claimed that those who collected the “jazzed” N10,000 under former President Muhammadu Buhari ended up in poverty.
