Singer Davido has sent condolences to fellow musician Wizkid over the loss of his mother Dolapo Balogun.
Davido posted a message on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, putting Wizkid in his prayers and sharing words of comfort.
“Praying for you my brother @wizkidayo. Sadness flies away on the wings of time. ❤️,” he wrote.

Mrs Balogun was confirmed dead on Friday by Sunday Are, Wizkid’s manager.
Davido lost his son Ifeanyi Adeleke in November 2022. The three-year-old drowned in a pool at the singer’s home in the Banana Island area of Lagos.
